Honestly if Pepi continues his cold streak and poor(ish?) form should we give pefok another chance? He seems in amazing form, scoring in the champions league, and we could use a striker with confidence. Something we have lacked a good portion of the qualifying window minus the 3 good pepi games
Is there a metric to prove that someone who is playing in the MLS is currently doing better than someone who isn't playing in the MLS because you can be an exceptional talent in a weak league and also outside of Europe.

Pefok deserves another call up. Still like Pepi but he was a ghost in our last few games. He hasn’t solidified his starting spot so other players like Pefok, Dike, etc should still be able to compete for playing time there

Whoa. Mezz+ala = Half+Winger. Never made that connection before. Love it, Safire. Now do the English equivalents of Second Wheel, Hanger, and Freedomist, because none of those Italian roles make any sense to English speakers, except the last one, to George W. Bush. And maybe thoughts on whether Lletget could inspire an Italian role. Something like Atrasassero, or Desinflantista.
JM is not to blame at Leopzig. He had a team full of players Nagelsman put together who didn't want to play JM style of ball. JM should have changed tactics I guess but it was in the players im. One of the players pretty much admitted to not wanting to play JM style and tactics. Tedesco coached Schalke while McKennie was there and pretty much coached the team to relegation. So not great honestly
Well pulisic' dire performance had a lot to do with being totally dominated, physically, mentally and emotionally by Connor Coady.
Tuchel thinks he's Pep trying to play Pulisic out of position as a false 9. Stop it!
Was somewhat hopefull about Julian Green being on the radar last summer for the Gold Cup, but hes been benched the last month and just signed a new deal with that club. He should have gotten an opportunity at least when he was playing minutes. Unfortunate for him.

CCV is a real leader in the Celtic squad. He is vocal in organizing the back line, and he often is responsible for starting the build-up. Against Hibs, he played really well, having crucial interventions a couple of times. The Hibs goal wasn't on him, but on backline mate Starfelt.
Sheffield's goal was a real beauty, but Tim Ream had major responsibility in letting it in.

Pefok performs enough to back up Pepe. Both seem to loaf at times so I’m still waiting to see a Sargent/Zyardes hustle mixed with accuracy and physicality. Too much?
Until we find a perennial top striker, like a Jonathan David, we should just be riding the hot hand whose in form for his club. That’s pefok right now.

Reggie Cannon is only 5' 11" tall. Only in the Spanish La Liga do they routinely play short, under 6' tall centerbacks, because the average Spanish male is shorter than the average male of most countries.
