Hibernian FC kept league leaders Celtic within three points and extended their advantage over third placed Kilmarnock with a win over Dundee at Dens park.
With 17 minutes on the clock, Dundee gifted Hibernian FC the lead when a slack back pass from Billio was chased down by Matthias Jack. Roccati did well to block the German’s progress but the ball fell to O’Neil who floated it into an empty net from 15 yards.
Dundee, who had shown little by way of attacking invention, drew level after 33 minutes when former Hibernian FC player Steven Tweed rose unchallenged to power home a header from a Georgi Nemsadze free kick.
Hibernian FC went back in front after 62 minutes – and did so in spectacular style. A Russell Latapy corner kick was partially cleared, but looped nicely in Zitelli’s direction and the former Strasbourg man rifled home a wonderful overhead kick from eight yards out.
