Umm didn't I hear Skip say his sources inside of the Sixers say that Embiid was out and not possibly coming back bcuz he has a tear in the ligament in his knee? Just goes to show you Skip is full of shyt when it comes to these sources he says he has. No one in any organization will tell him a damn thing for him to repeat on air that is not supposed to be told to the puplic.

MVP matters. There's a check that comes with that 😅.
Embiid did not deserve the mvp, this was the most bogus mvp race I've ever seen. Both giannis and jokic deserved it more, this was a pity award. Its the participation trophy of mvp awards. All embiid did was score.
He shot almost 10% worse from the field than jokic. He rebounded poorly for a 7 footer that played 34 mins a game. Jokic outrebounded him and had more than double the amount of assists. Jokic had the best defensive rating on his team by 4 points which is a large number. Embiid didnt even have the best defensive rating on his team and his defensive rating was not even a point better than Jokic.
Giannis had the best defensive rating in the league, shot better than embiid, rebounded better and had more assists while scoring just 2 points less.
Embiid won this award purely on narrative alone and voter fatigue. He whined and whined for years about not being given the mvp award but he's never had the best season. Everyone that knows ball knows embiid didnt deserve this mvp award. He had a really good season…but he didnt have the best season nor was he the most valuable. Period.

I played 5 months on a partial tear and was playing my best basketball until it tore completely on a freak slip. Depending on the severity Embeast may make it through the play-offs and still be impactful.
