  1. i dont think UEFA will give 2028 to England after 2020 finals. if England takes WC 2030 then they would be given Euro 2032 too. but not 2028 i think. and i dont think Turkey will ever host an euro for political reasons. so my ranking of their chances:
    1. Spain bid
    2. Italy bid
    3. Balkan bid
    4. Nordic bid
    5. England bid
    6. Turkey bid

  2. Bulgaria-Greece-Romania-Serbia EURO 2028

6 games in each group. 9 games per country in the Group stage.

4 stadiums per country. 3 cities per country. 16 stadiums in total. 12 cities in total.

Bulgaria: Sofia (2 stadiums), Burgas, Plovdiv.

Greece: Athens (2 stadiums), Thessaloniki, Larissa.

Romania: Bucharest (2 stadiums), Craiova, Cluj-Napoca.

Serbia: Belgrade (2 stadiums), Nish, Novi Sad.

    Opening: Bucharest.

    Final: Athens.

  3. Honestly Turkey bid will not go through. Their leadership is far from great, they don’t have a great track record of human rights and recent conflicts with Greece aren’t ideal for them either. The balkan bid is also not ideal, because it’s hosted by 4 countries, but also Serbia has a really bad track record with racism. I don’t really understand the bid personally, since 3 countries could easily host the tournament instead of 4 (throw Bulgaria away idk). So yeah, none of the two confirmed bids are great. I think England would rather host a world cup, Italy and Spain have been hard hit by covid, so idk how they’ll deal with financial repercussions of incoming recession, especially Italy who needs to upgrade most of its stadiums. Nordic countries, well there’s four of them and they’d need a 60k seater. Sweden has four stadiums who could be used already, so that’s great, but the likes of Denmark, Finland and Norway only have one.

  5. I think it will between turkey and the balkans. I don't think any of the rest will bid. I feel like turkey would win but I feel politics would get in the way which is a shame.

  6. Since OAKA in Greece is the biggest stadium in the balkans that would be the stadium of the finals if Balkans won. Although UEFA only cares about money so it wouldn't be that easy

  7. Why not Emirates or China? Let's forget about the fact that this is a European competition. UEFA does not care. It's all about money. In today's football, nothing seems to be impossible.

  8. I find your attitude toward a multi-country bid ridiculous. I think it is very smart to share the cost, especially when some of the hosts could be an excellent host country, but can not do it alone. Even Austria and Switzerland or Netherlands and Belgium, could not do it on their own anymore with the current number of participants. Population wise and the football league level in those countries does not support multiple big legacy stadiums after the tournament. UEFA needs to be flexible in this regard. Yes, the 2020/21 Euros was not a success in this regard, but we should learn from it, and allowed It in multiple countries in the same region. I think the Nordic bid, should be given a fair chance.

  9. I hope it ends up being Turkey. Just like Morocco they've been trying to host a big tournament for a while now. Would also like to see the Balkans host it, but they should wait until '32 or '36 I think.
