There was a time Louis van Gaal lived in the same street as me in the village Avenhorn in the Netherlands and I saw Louis on a weekly basis driving his car. He was at that time appointed as coach of AJAX and from that time I follow everything that Louis is doing and totally admire him..
This may be an unpopular opinion, but i believe had Van Gaal been given 2 more seasons at Man United, he would have had a lot of success. His system and methods needed a bit more time. Same way Klopp and Pep both took about 3 seasons to get their teams where they are now.

One correction: Van Gaal was only manager for 2 years at Manchester and not 3 his final season was the season when they won they Fa cup in 2016.
