    Russia submits bid to host the Euros in 2028 & 2032

    The UK and Ireland are also bidding to host Euro 2028. Russia and it’s clubs have been suspended by both UEFA and FIFA, meaning a successful bid seems unlikely. A decision will be made in September 2023.

      Good luck Russia if you are lucky in your bid. You will obviously be playing yourself in the final.
      As I would think no respecting country would attend.

      Should separate sports and politics, otherwise the same approach needs to be taken with any country that has invaded another country in recent years, has poor human rights record, etc. . Saudi arabia for example have recently qualified for the world cup and they have appalling record. Qatar should never have been allowed to host a world cup because of their own human rights issues. There should be set criteria for countries to be allowed to host an international tournament.

      Er, how can the UK submit a bid after their illegal invasions and slaughter of millions in Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq…
      Their actions are even worse because the wars weren't to protect innocent civilians in their territories, it was to topple governments they didn't like

      I mean if they pay enough, uefa will except, thats how the football workes nowadays.
      And yeah, 2018 world cup might have been well organized, but was also the most boring world cup since who knows when. Brazil, South Africa and Germany were a million times better, and had a vibe, that just doesnt work with russia. didnt then, and absolutely absolutely doesnt work now

      If Russia pay Uefa enough they will definitely accept it. Uefa and Fifa are all about cash regardless of where it comes from. We just had a world cup in Russia and the next in Qatar…. says it all

Whatever the MSM are telling, know that the opposite may more be the case. As such, Russia may not the villain they are made to be after all….

      It sounds insane and outrageous until you realise that England is the favourite for hosting Euro 2028 despite all the glaring issues noted just a year ago (people entering Wembley without tickets, poor security, assaults on vising fans). UEFA probably seems both of them (England & Russia) as the ideal candidates meeting all its criteria.
