Chelsea have announced they have parted company with Thomas Tuchel. The Blues suffered a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in their opening Champions League game last night. Brighton boss Graham Potter is expected to be approached for the role. The club are also keen to speak to Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane also, who are both out of work.

Potter is either going to be revolutionary or a disaster for them.
I think he'll be great, but I wish he didn't go to the Chelsea merry-go-round.
Insane that Chelsea would sack Tuchel after 7 games. This is clearly about more than the loss to Zagreb. Something wasn't right behind the scenes.
However only Boehly and his people can be blamed for ditching Cech, Marina etc. They left Tuchel working the job of several people then hung him out to dry when it didn't work out.

Mixed feelings about this. It would be good to see a British manager at a top club, but he’s built something great at Brighton.

I love how people are just assuming Potter and his lawyers will be stupid about this. He’s obviously going to address the fact that he will need complete control over the team and on who starts/who is left out etc. There will be contract stipulations in place where he can command whatever money he wants if his contract is terminated early. He’s clearly an intelligent man, and he has the chance to push forward with his career. If he fails, he goes back to a premier league club, if he succeeds, he goes onto greatness. I hope he takes the challenge. Would be nice to see a British coach at a top club again

Its a big risk , Graham hasn't really done anything at the top level of European football and Chelsea are all about winning trophies or you get the sack . Potter should be patient, I think he'd do well at a club like Spurs or West Ham

Brighton really just bent themselves over the table for Chelsea and said “sure come on in”. Why Brighton would essentially throw away their season after 7 games to let arguably one of the fastest Rising managerial talents in world football just walk so easily is beyond me. From guaranteed survival under Potter to god knows what under whoever the possible new manager is.
