Georgia took down Turkey in a fierce double-overtime battle in EuroBasket 2022 today. However, the game did not end there. After the match, Turkey claimed that they will leave EuroBasket if required footage won’t be provided after the Furkan Korkmaz-Duda Sanadze incident. According to the Turkish national team, Korkmaz was attacked in the tunnel by three Georgian players and security guards after he left the court.

  2. what was the mixup at the end, did coach complain that there was an intended personal foul and the ref deemed it excessive and called it flagrant or "intentional"….if you ref by the spirit and intent of the rules, it is a good hard foul taken to stop the clock, am i right? did the refs mess it up by adding more to it>??

  3. just watched it again, good foul, sure he hit the arm but it could easily be interpreted as going for the ball, if you are a sensible referee….coach must be upset that the ref added more to it than a common foul, right?

  4. I don't understant why people doesn't get it through. it is not about win or loose. exactly 22 seconds missing in this game. no need to even discuss about that. scandal.
On the other hand, FIBA has nearly no power on european teams. most of powerful european teams participate to euroleague despite the all measures taken by FIBA. Who cares FIBA?
Tbh, I wouldn't even call NBA players for this organization.

  5. It turned out that the Turks' claim on the camera was not true at all. They provoked the Georgians from the start and here is the result, but still very unsportsmanlike from both sides. But the Turks shouldn't pretend to be innocent now

  6. Georgians still haven't provided the security cam footages. What a disgrace! They exactly know what they did and they afraid that this will be seen by the whole world!!!

  7. Highlights definitely look entertaining, but an infusion of more “athletic” players would lend itself to a more NBA/NCAA type of atmosphere.

  8. FIBA FITS, THE DATE WHERE BASKETBALL WAS FINISHED. 22 SECONDS DESTROYED IN THIS MATCH. SECONDS DON'T MATTER IN BASKETBALL NOW, PREDICTION IS IMPORTANT. APPARENTLY MADE INTO HISTORY IN A SPORTS BRANCH.

  9. turkish guy started the conflict , and also he was threatening the Georgian one . lt is obvious that this incident is turkey's fault . turkey's players and their coach are truly redicilous , this is how they react on loss😂 They can't accept that someone can play better than them , they think that they really are the leaders in our country , and we won't forgive them ! they should behave respectfully!

  10. Teams are making 45 minutes travel from hotels to stadium.90 minutes time loss in a game day. This is a short tournament, players need to rest. There is problem on organisation

  11. I wonder if there is a another team against Turkey what will happen? I am sure they share the footage if there is a another team. Georgia we know you cut the footage and w can’t see anything. What is wrong with you guys? As a neighbour seriously??
