  1. Wilshere on a short term contract seems good cover for AFCON but to be fair none of us have actually seen him train. We could definitely do with some strengthening to achieve top 4 but as has already been said it would be much easier to do that business in the summer and it would be a bad idea to blow our money on bad January business. It's a bit difficult. I like Laca up front but the worry is that if he gets injured we're a bit screwed. As for midfield, we look incredibly thin at the moment. I wonder if we should look to sign a decent-ish Elneny replacement and then focus on getting a proper first choice midfielder in the summer.

  2. I really think that the game against City will define our progress: if we sit back and allow City time to control the game, they will bury us. We have to get into our stride from the off and really face up to them. They are vulnerable at the back, and the likes of MO and Martinelli needs to work their socks off to pressurise their defence.

I believe we can get a good result.

  3. The start up matters a lot. I have no worries with arsenal currently as long as we play with the same tempo we used in the last four matches. There are chances we could even come out winning. As long as we play well, that is enough for me.
