      As a utd fan I’ve got mixed feelings on this signing, I’m glad we got such an exciting young player but I’m also annoyed that every time we buy a player we get bent over on the price.

      I don’t get these pundits problem with players from the Eredivisie – Suarez, Eriksen, RvNistelrooy, Van Persie, Arjen Robben, Park Ji-Sung were excellent so you can find real quality there

      Transfer was done late Ajax didn’t wanna sell him and Ajax have to pay money to he’s previous club aswell so anyone with a brain will understand why the price is what it is

      Players from Eredivisie tot Premier league can succeed. I think the focus is too much on the players we do fail. Let me sum up some names;

      Eriksen to Spurs
      Suarez to Liverpool
      Vertonghen to Spurs
      Dembele to Spurs
      Tiote to Newcastle
      Wijnaldum tot Newcastle and Liverpool
      Bergwijn to Spurs (unlucky with managers)
      Van Nistelrooy to Man Utd

      Probably forgot some, but my point is that it seems like people forgot all the players that worked?

      I know there are always a lot of question marks when signing a player from the Eredivisie but is it really that much of a bigger risk than Spain, Germany, France, Italy etc?

      When you think of some of the best players from Holland to play in the PL you have RVN, Stam, RVP, Bergkamp, Overmars, Robben, Hasselbaink, VVD, VDS…. Some of the very best PL players ever have come from the Eredivisie

      Had all summer to find a suitable candidate, only to end up 100 million euros on a player who struggles to get 10 G/A in the Eredivisie. Thats the second massive panic buy for United this summer, brilliant.
