We all know Argentina and Brazil dont rely on their leagues, to make a base for the national team. Why in the world should we even be considering MLS players anymore?? We have more than a full squad of European players, and I hope US Soccer doesn't make Matt Crocker go the MLS way, we're better than that.

Said it LOADS on this channel. Berhalter was rubber stamped the second the US beat Iran. End of. The USSF had zero plans of working. They didn't want to interview, search, vet or anything. The Reyna debacle forced their hand. I really don't know if even the pundits get how severe that was. Throughout, it was an astonishing level of naivete from a manager. On and off the field.
And so here we are and OF COURSE he's still in the mix. Because that's how inept the USSF is. Also… he's not just in the mix, he's got AS MUCH a shot as say a Marsch – and I'd be hesitant with him as well. Good luck… because it's beyond short sighted to think he doesn't have a shot AND that he wouldn't take it. You bet he would. And they'd give him a raise.
Just hire the parents, they run everything anyway. There ain’t a single man on that team. It’s a roster full of boys. Glorified youth soccer. Writing books calling people out, having mom and dad chirp online to come to your defense, calling people out, holding vendettas over playing time. It’s little boys soccer. The Dutch national team exposed the on field problems too. Grow up, they need to just hire a babysitter

please no. We need a manger that is able to adapt, and Marsch is the opposite of that. He's almost as bad at Gregg.
Berhalter took the best USMNT player pool and made them meet the absolute lowest standards set. I understand that they don't want USMNT to succeed, because it makes the old players look bad, but we are so much better than just hiring thier brothers and the "The Good Ole Boys" that the USSF want.
Hire Hodgson or Ferguson for USMNT manager.

I don't care what anyone says. I'd be very happy to see Jesse Marsh get a shot at the job. I can't help but root for the guy.
Jose Mourinho would be incredible, but no one in the United States knows who he is. So growing the game, like a spokes person, not him…
Jesse Marsch is not good at tournament football in my opinion he’s plays too narrow, and in his system the fullbacks get exposed ….
I don’t like that he’s not American. This is the United States national team. We are not an extension of Europe.

It has to be Marsch. These guys spend all of their days listening to foreign coaches and living in foreign countries. When they come to US camps I am sure most of them want to just be American and not the American. They probably really enjoy being around players from the US and being themselves. Jesse would own this team.
Jesse Marsch does not like losing. I love his attitude. No way Marsch allows the Netherlands to run over the US like Berhalter did.
Berhalter should step down after that loss because he failed. It's over – he tried his best and was a good servant. Time for something new.
As long as its not Berhalter, Im cool with any of these guys. This young and passionate team deserves better. The American fanbase deserve better. Its time to move on and start fresh with a new set of leaders starting from the front office.
And the US had a way easier group than say Canada, who right now starting 11 to starting 11 has a better team. Now I think that the USMNT underperformed under Berhalter, so I think with the right management, not so rigid and predictable style of play, actually constructing the most talented pool, the US should be tops in CONCACAF. Berhalter ball was a disaster.
