      Hardly blasting Pickford but as someone else pointed out oh yeah Arsenal keepers are the best at the moment. Keepers only as good as the defence in front of him. Ray clemence was found out when he left Liverpool for Spurs. Peter Shilton should have got far more England caps. Clemence had half the nation's defence in front of him at the time.

      Personally, I think City & Liverpool have the best goalies. It's not that hard to keep clean sheets when you're behind some of the other highly defensive teams.

      If your a Premier league goal keeper then yiur probably a decent goalie regardless of what keown thinks and keown showing his ignorance, the defenders are there to help the goalie not other way round , goalie is a chance to stop a goal not 10 players trying to stop a chance to take a shot .

      Alison has shown he's the best keeper in the league, or at least in the conversation. Liverpool have been so poor but the reason they're haven't dropped further is largely down to Alison.

      “But, you know, he almost looks offended when the opposition have a shot” of course he does Martin because he is used to playing for England where he has 7 players in front of him protecting him from facing shots. The guy is nowhere near the best in the premier league and if he is Englands best keeper then it’s because he is the best of the worst. There is a reason why the big clubs didn’t try to buy him. Everton is the biggest club he will ever play for and he knows it, that’s why he signed a new deal.

      Fair assessment – especially the critique on how Pickford is the best in an England shirt.
      Depending on what we see Ramsdale do next season in the CL and where Everton are …. Pickford could lose that shirt. Pope is probably the best shot stopper out of all Englands keepers but is ridiculously limited with his feet and has an error in him.
      If Ramsdale is putting in strong performances in the CL and Everton are on the championship it’s hard to see Pickford clinging to that Jersey
