I'm on board with bringing in Ajax players, they aren't flush with cash and develop great players from their academy and frugal purchases. I think it would be safe to buy any of their starters as replacements for our own. I'd take Onana over Kepa, I'd take Tagliafico over Alonso, I'd take Van Der Beek over Barkley and I honestly believe each would be an upgrade on what we already have.
As for Jesus Corona, if we can pick him up cheaply enough I suppose he is a solid buy because you stick him on the bench and he can replace any of the starting 11, but I don' t think he is good enough to be a starter although I may be wrong.
Although Boga would have been a steal, I understand him not being keen on coming in to be a rotational player. Picking up someone like Carrasco or Talisca from the Chinese league might be a great buy, the league is capping wages so they may be looking to move on and might take a rotational position in the squad.

I dont know about buying to many players from the same club. Ajax in this case. Sure it worked for liverpool and southampton, however many times it is a sign that the selling vlub is getting rid of some players that is ”over valued” or past their best

(Not only on Portugueese league) He destroyed aspilicueta and company back on world club cup on Chealsea vs Rayados . despite the score, Individualy Corona was the one who put Chealsea in trouble.
