    Man City In Talks To Sign Mateo Kovacic From Chelsea For £30M | Man City Transfer Update



    Man City transfer update as Callum Doyle (on loan at Coventry City this season from Manchester City) is being linked with a move to Eintracht Frankfurt, Aston Villa and AC Milan are interested in Kyle Walker from Man City, Brentford full-back Aaron Hickey and Fulham full-back Antonee Robinson are being linked with a move to Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola believed to be a big admirer and Mateo Kovacic is being linked with a £30M move to Man City from Chelsea, with the players representatives in London, talking with City, about a potential move being made. Talks are at a very early stage. It is not clear if this would be a signing to improve Man City’s depth to their squad or to replace Bernardo Silva, Kalvin Phillips or Ilkay Gundogan. We will see.       We don't need to sign kovacic, there are better options available in the market, sign Bellingham, lavia, get mcatee back from loan, and keep atleast one between gundo and Bernardo and we are done with our midfield

      Man I hate this club when it comes to young players getting chances or let them leave without getting a chance in the first team smh why signing a next player passes 28 and we should build for the future🔮 smh just hurt man to see all those good young players passing by

      If the Kovacic talks are true , my take is that Gundogan is moving on and Phillips will be moved on with Bellingham coming in Summer or December. Don't think he is actually a replacement for Gundo ,I also feel that Bellingham will be seen as a future replacement for Rodri if all works out .

      I'd rather keep Gundo for 2 or 3 more seasons than sign Kovacic. Really underwhelming. Hickey is not interesting. Much more interested in Antonee Robinson.

      If Bernardo doesn’t leave I don’t think there is a reason for us to sign ANOTHER midfielder last time we did that he ended up rotting on the bench and still is rotting on the bench

      I’d take Kovacic, he’d immediately replace Gundo and can play for us for 3-4 years. Would be perfect backup for Kevin and Jude if he comes in next season.

      Crazy money for Kovatic – decent player but only going to be cover for Rohdri ( already got Philips ) Still think Ake or Stoner can cover that spot and there are loads of nuts and bolts holding midfielders kicking around on free or cheap . Chelsea need to have a clear out , a buyers market !
