      He was lucky to not have received a red early on. It could be him but then again, he’s up against the best number 9 in the world.

      Any other defender in the world is bound to make mistakes over 2 legs.

      as a Bayern fan, it is not unlucky. You cannot say someone unlucky if they have 10 mistakes like that. I think there are 2 hypotheses::
      1. Tuchel wants to destroy Bayern on purpose: I know he is new and I don't expect many invention in his tactics, but he has many trivial mistakes: keep Upamecano to let him having around 10 errors on the field while Bayern has many other players like Stanisic, Davies or Mazaori who can play rb (Pavard went to CB), put Thomas Muller outside the field, make a stupid and unnecessary red card. I wondered these mistakes are on purpose.
      2. Upamecano is having signs of vestibular disease: He slipped many times and even amateur players didn't slip many times like that. He needs to have a health check. I think he is not even healthy in the last 3 matches.
      The lost against Man city is deserved, they could lost 0-10 instead. That's sign of downgrade of Germany national team compared to Belgium or England. Germany might not appear at final of world cup 2026.

      Upamecano is good defender but unless he eliminates mistakes from his game he is Still just a good defender.Sure you might say he has been world class all season but football is not a fair sport and the true mark of a great is stepping up when needed most.Remember halaand, rashford and salah doings bits against him.He is a good ball player tbh but always seem to have a mistake in him which gets exposed by the very best.

      This is the same panel who said last week: "Nagelsman did not do a good job."
      He was 1st in the Bundesliga, won every CL game after facing Barcelona, Inter and PSG, and in the quarter-final of the German Cup. When u see Oliver Kahn celebrating the Kimmich pen in garbage time as though something was gonna happen, it was pathetic 😊

      Upamecano's faced a humiliation comparable to the likes of Maicon against Bale and Boateng against Messi. For sure these City games have left a black mark on his career.

      With regards to Bayern however, this is the worst I've seen them since the 2014 UCL semi final. The pity penalty was the icing on the cake, in many ways this felt very similar to the United-Arsenal tie back in 2009, where United completely trounced them on the counter.

      as bayern fans, we actually mad about upamecano, he does the mistakes so many times, against moenchengladbach, against leverkusen, so many times, he became Dante 2.0

      Upamecano looks like a defender playing on the wrong side of his weaker foot, Bayern need to look at that centre back partnership. Both very good players but may not be the best pairing, Sommer for all his kicking attributes doesn't look calm and settled in that 3 man unit.

      no wonder Sadio punched Leroy Sane! Him and Upamecano are responsible for Bayern exit! When he slept, I was like, "Lord have mercy on him….NOT AGAIN!! That fall was kinda embarrassing.

      The way Craig was mocking Bayern is what made this elimination bitter to swallow. It's more like Bayern got themselves out of the UCL by their own hands
