Spurs also let Tripper and KWP go……then we declined via Aruier, Doherty, Emerson.
I'm sure there are plenty of other things the Board regret, Kyle Walker being one of them, but for many Spurs fans there is a much longer list of disappointments with the Board. COYS.
This's where Spurs miss it,going for cheaper options! Thuram is so cheap,why is that? Obviously he's not world class and besides,the fellow has discipline issues! The fact that he's so cheap tells a story and this's a cheap buy that will bring no value to the team. It's not abt quantity, it's just about quality.

De Vrij at least will bring a bit of stability in our defense but again his age is over the hill. Will he live up to the demands of the premiership, not sure? Spurs will have needed a Skriniar type of a player in that very porous defense. Denzel Dumfries shd be a must for rwb and 30 million pounds is not too bad due to lack of quality players in that same position. I also don't know why Djed Spence was brought to the club? January window is an opportunity for Spurs to bring players that will get us over the line! We need 2 good cbs, a rwb,a cam, a good striker or 2! Get Sanchez as a new keeper to alternate with Lloris. He's young able and very agile too,also good on the ball in starting build ups from the back as Hugo struggles with starting play from the back. Newcastle game at the Lane is a case in point where he tried it twice and twice resulted in the 2 goals and Spurs loss!
Besides, Robert Sanchez of Brighton is only 24/25 years and will be a perfect fit for a long time to come! It was a miracle for Spurs to win that game against Leeds after having led 3 times!
Spurs genius moves #65: Let’s sell Walker and Trippier. They are both England starters and we can buy a guy who starts for Easter Island. Would be interesting to know how many (and why) players left Spurs and went on to success elsewhere. Foyth comes to mind and how many trophies does Walker have?

We could have considered Trip returning. His departure was controversial… Kyle is someone that we cant hold on too so selling him for 50mil is an ok deal. Stefan, Thuram and Dum have been linked to us for 1yr and counting.. Doubt we will get anyone of them over the line… not forgetting Pau Torres (Villa link , maybe he wants to elevate Villa to CL under Emery)
