  1. Arnie appears to be struggling with composure and his confidence in his own performance is not apparent. Already preparing excuses for underperformance!!! Not the Arnie of old. His in-action for covering Mooy's defensive weaknesses and exposing Atkinson's inexperience on the right side left the side very exposed. From early in the first half until the equaliser we always looked vulnerable. His tactical game needs to lift and the elusive team set up in the offensive third is still problematic…..not helped by very slow predictable ball movement….

  2. Arnie setting himself up to keep his job if he fails based on excuses that apply to all Australian managers. I.e. not enough time to work with players.

  3. As a Peruvian, I have to say that it won't be a walk in the park when we play the Aussie team, but it won't be a cricket game for them either. However from what we saw in the AUS vs UAE, both performances were below CONMEBOL's standards. We have three World Champs above us, and if we had played like that we would have ended up with five goals back in the net. Having said that, it does not mean that we are dismissing or belittling the Aussie team, but when we hear Mr. Graham saying his team has to improve more until Monday, it is if I may say it, a bit laughable. He has no time until next Monday to show them better, he has not been long enough with the team, and he does not have a quality bench. If he is hoping and praying for a better performance vs. Peru, I can believe that. The games are won by playing them and are not by mumbling empty promises behind the mike. Too much smoke-selling Mr. Graham. I hope to see a good game though, and may the best team win and qualify for Qatar 2022. Viva el PerΓΊ Carajo!
