This week on Transfer Review, Henry is joined by Dougie to crunch through the biggest talking points from this crazy transfer window!

First up, they look at two forwards Newcastle United want to lead their line next season. From Espanyol, we have Raul de Tomas, a prolific Spanish striker who has set La Liga on fire. Then from Real Sociedad we have Alexander Isak, the former Borussia Dortmund star long tipped for a move to a massive club. But who should they sign? Watch on to find out.

After that, Dougie and Henry take a look at Manchester United’s floundering pursuit of Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong, and decide who they should target in case the Dutchman stays in Catalonia. Will it be Ruben Neves of Wolves? Or Youri Tieleman’s of Leicester City? Listen on and join the debate below!

  1. Barca keep making signings and getting worse. Raphinha would've been a fantastic signing at €25m, at €72m, I think it is an overpay.

  2. Ekitike is a top talent but maybe wasting Newcastles time.

Kalimuendo also linked would be a good fit and at 20 yrs old would be great fit and right profile to add. A goalscoring RW is needed and although Diaby would be a great fit may be unfeasible, so alternative option would be Asensio or Berardi if available.

    Ekitike and Diaby best option
Kalimuendo and Yira Sor (Slavia Prague) the young options
RDT and Asensio/Berardi the best value
Belotti and Bernadeschi the free agent options

  3. Newcastle: If targets are successful

    A. Isak

    Saint-Maximin Paqueta Diaby

    Willock Guimarães

    Telles Botman Akanji Tripper

    D. Henderson

    Diaby alternative: Noni Madueke

  4. Man Utd are getting Eriksen so Frenkie De Jong would be best option in the deeplying Carrick playmaker role.

If we're exploring the free market then Grillitsch would be a good choice and Tolisso shouldn't be sniffed at.

Youngsters I like Krejci, Onana and K Thuram.

  5. I would love Diaby or Isak but going off tweets today from North East based Journalists it seems they’re a bit too pricey for us. We’re desperate for a RW to contribute goals and assist. Then another Striker to rival Wilson and play when he’s injured is a must.

  6. We need someone in Diabys position more than an upgrade to Wilson, push for Diaby as well as a young backup to Wilson (even a loan) and that’s decent progression

  7. Kalajdzic and Schick would be ideal for Newcastle’s rebuild, but if they can’t make a deal for the duo or Ekitike, two backup options could be Morelos or Maximilian Phillip

  8. With the new 5 substitution rule Mata at Leeds could be an interesting option for last 20-30 minutes of a game where they need some chances to be created.

  9. I hope players continue doing this to Barca. Why should they continue getting away with it? Hope their club dies.

  10. Everyone keeps bumping prices up on these players were going for when reports are Depay could be available in the 18mil region from what I've seen. No brainer for me, whether he's be interested or not is another story, former teammate of Bruno too. Targeting ppl like Isak for 60million is mad to me. 6 in 32, can't see it being better in the prem.

  11. I love Frenkie De Jong. I think United have missed out on players like Bounacar Kamara just to sign a player who doesn’t want to be there.
It’s surely time to let that go and sign a more United player? Someone who wants to be there
