  1. Arsenal are a London based club with history and significantly higher revenues and net spend. Not even close. Kante was Leicester's most expensive buy at 6 million. Mahrez/Vardy were in the 1 million range

  2. A bit more impressive than the Leicester run, but it's very similar. All the top clubs are in transition and on top of that good top half / mid table sides are having an off year this season. Arsenal needs to improve massively to compete next season.

  5. I wouldn't call it a Leicester season no. But this will be Arsenals best chance of winning a title for a long long time. They cannot and should not expect Chelsea, Newcastle, United and Liverpool to be as inconsistent as they have been – and three of those teams can spend crazy money and the other team has a coach lightyears ahead of Arteta in what he can achieve on a lower budget
