      English players Aren’t arrogant enough to win we need players who step on the pitch believe in themselves look at France, Argentina and Italy arrogant, nasty players who are willing to do anything to win we just don’t have that killer mentality

      Agree with Simon totally…..so Post match against Italy…….we see again another massive mistake by England dobbin Maguire that let Italy score 😮……….what was the famous line from the movie Lawrence of Arabia “He has a fools face” ….says it all about Gareth Wokegate (an England manager with the most dreadful CV ever)

      Problem with England not winning championships is that you lose games where you are the better team, for whatever reason. It's hard to win anything like that, let alone WC or Euros. Even when you go 2:0 up I just expect England to sit back and start conceding goals, and then anything can happen.

      Southgate having the players take the knee while the US National side stood and watched them was one of the most embarrising things ive ever seen, should of been sacked for that alone.

      Whenever SJ talks about the reasons he failed as a chairman, every last excuse in the book gets wheeled out. Whenever he talks about Southgate – a guy who got infinitely closer to success than Simon ever did – he's only seeing the negatives. Didn't we beat Italy away last night?…

      It's as if the FA are actually trying NOT to win. This is an era where, talent-wise, England have talent that is actually comparable to the best sides in world football and that hasn't always been the case. The fact that they've allowed such an underqualified manager to preside over this era is self-sabotaging at it's finest!

      It's a shame that no one cares that we have a manager who has integrity and has created fantastic values in the England national team. We've overachieved in the last few years and the last World Cup felt like progress – first time we've had a stable starting 11. Finally starting to see a new core of the England team, so lets see at this next tournament, but lets just get behind the team because we're not getting rid until after the Euros

      Sir,
      England has a team that can win trophies, and already should have won the trophies !
      The team has is brimming with players under the tutelage of all time great coaches Pep, Klopp, Tuchel, Jose, Ancelotti, Eric Ten Hag, 😮following Conte, Pochettino, Unai Emery, EPL has seen what a collection of coaches assembled, all serial winners !
      Where does the England dug out fit in among these stellar managers !
      Yes, we have a team of players who can and should be winning trophies !
      Probably the dug out is a replica of Harry Kane one of the greatest who never won a trophy !
      At least he has made individual records for eternity !
      But the dug out and the captain could not translate that into a WINNING Mentality !

      It’s so frustrating. Because we finally have a very good international team since the lampard, beckham etc era and we know we still not going to win because the manager is a poor in game manager. He’s in game management isn’t even average. Other then the CB we are strong on all fronts. 🤷🏽‍♂️ like it really is pointless us getting the Euros. We’re just the international spurs

      I’m not a fan of Danny Mills by any stretch of the imagination but Simon saying his opinion is uninformed despite being a premier league player and an international footballer for a long time is a strange comment.

      Gareth is like Roy doesnt take chances in critical knock out stages of tournaments and sticks with his steady eddies ie. Harry Mcguire is a notable selection
