I am also not a Jones believer but thought he played very well today. He setup our first goal and almost set up 2-2 for us before the second half. Give me another one Jones like that and I be a believer

I think you were a little too generous towards Trent and VVD; even though you are thrilled with the comeback and rightfully so, those two players were a big part of the reason you went 2-0 down in the first place. They were pretty solid after the first 35 minutes, but a football game lasts 90 minutes, and the mistakes leading to the arsenal goals happened within those 90 minutes. I would have given Trent a 6 and VVD a 4.

Again it feels like I watched a different game from others, Allison was ok, and konate was good but to try to chest in the shot in the last minute what was he thinking, Trent and Jones are liabilities and should be left on the bench or play back in the under 23s, Hendo can't get much more negative one min he is on the arsenal byline then passes back to konate on the halfway line, I always believe in salah but two pens in a row not even on target, for as long as Salah has been at Liverpool he blasted in down the middle last two pens placed in a corner, Nunez was unlucky but he needs to start putting more chances, Really think the team should focus on finishing, Robbo hendo, jota, and gakpo all had shots that missed completely, good result but till we follow it up with results again leeds, forest then Tottenham I will start to believe it will change.
That showing from Bobby, is exactly why Liverpool were so good for the last few years. Most underrated player of recent times. He makes Liverpool 10x better.
Trent, Jude and Thiago in midfield next season 😉 Imagine the creativity. Diaz, Nunez, Mo, gakpo and jota would have a field day with those 3 in midfield
Trent should of been an 8. For me we should really consider playing Trent in midfield going forward and get another right back. I really think we are missing a trick here. He played in midfield coming through the youth teams. I think it would be great for the club and great for him!

I don't think there can even be a question now. Trent NEEDS to play in midfield. Gomez is miles more solid than trent at RB, and everything about trents game is just screaming at Klopp to play him as a playmaker in midfield. He needs that freedom to do what he's good at, create goalscoring chances!
He could literally be the guy that gives us what De bruyne gives City. He plays very similarly! Very exciting prospect.

Also Craig, surely you seen that trent wasn't even a defender today. He was deliberately playing midfield most of the game, especially with the ball. It was by design that he covered for Trent.
Disagree with your assessment of Jones too. He was good.
