  1. Sturridge may well have done some great punditry there, but I was so distracted by the glove pocket I couldnt concentrate

  2. As has been said already, Daniel Sturridge turns out to be an excellently articulate pundit. Lets hope this is the start of a new career for him, analyzing players and matches on the telly!

  3. I think Lukaku got done dirty by the media. In that famous interview he didn’t say: ‘I don’t want to play for Chelsea.’ Rather he said: ‘one day I would like to play for inter again.’ These two statements are very different. He did the interview because he left Milan without having the chance to say goodbye to the fans and they were giving him all sorts of stick following his departure.

I think something went wrong between him and Tuchel. He started very well and everybody was backing him to be a big success. Suddenly the guy isn’t playing anymore and when he does play the team doesn’t play to his strengths.

With a new manager coming in and inter looking like they’re not going to be interested in buying him, I think Chelsea would be mad not to at least take a look at him in preseason and if the manager fancies him then why not give him a go? He’s a proven goalscorer (the thing Chelsea desperately needs) and let’s be honest, if they try to sell him they’ll just make a massive loss over what they payed for him. People talk about the fans not liking him anymore but realistically if he scores a few goals in his first game back, you can bet people will soon forget any transgressions.

  4. It’s OBVIOUS …. BUT TO LATE ….. Ronaldo was THE answer, available on a FREE …??? How MYOPIC are these nuggets …… pathetic….

  5. Why do they have Sturridge on though seriously? Man had one good season where he was carried. He's not even top 15 top EPL stikers OAT.

  6. Danny is a good pundit but he has gone mad if he thinks lukaku is the answer, lukaku has had plenty of games where a one touch finish comes to him but he still bottled every chance he got, he will never be good enough.

  7. Daniel Sturridge with a great analysis. Just wait until Sky's YouTube views go down to see "Sturridge Goes Off On Ex Teammate!" in the video title

  8. The hand on Jamie 😅 if they was still playing carra would have went down and shouted ref rolling around lucky both retired but good talk from sturridge

  9. I’m anti Chelsea but for some reason I see a Mourinho x Lukaku reunion and this could be both managers and players last dance!

  10. He’s been at Chelsea twice, hasn’t worked. Doesn’t mean he’s bad sometimes players can’t work a certain club, city or country. Managers are the same. If anyone knew the reason or predict it they’d be a billionaire scout for saving clubs all that money

  11. "He didn't get a chance to come out and prove himself at Chelsea" – Mate, he had a whole season, and he didn't do anything noteworthy except an interview with Sky Italy slagging off his manager.
