The issue is Chelsea can't do both at the same time. Either they are very defensively solid but can't create any chances, or they push forward and create more, but leave massive holes at the back and get shredded in transition. The aim for the squad should be to add a Striker that can capitalise on the new talent surrounding them (maybe Lukaku?) and a DM that can give balance to the midfield and take the defensive burden off of Enzo

Doesn’t matter how many passes into the final third Chelsea make, or touches they have in the opposition box unless they have someone to do something in those positions. Their recruitment has been shocking and we’re seeing the results of that now. They lack quality in key areas. Chilwell is shocking defensively and very physically weak. The wingers don’t contribute anything, and the midfield lacks goals and assists. Not even going to talk about the keepers because they’re both shocking as well, and one of them cost 70 million plus. Joke of a club

It’s clearly mainly attack that’s the problem, because they’ve only conceded 30 goals which is still 4th best is the league. Their attack is utter disgrace.
English pundits making excuses for an average manager and using the media to give him more time. He had two weeks to prepare with twice the quality Aston Villa have and still lost. Potter started badly at Brighton, and built a team that struggled to score goals. What did we think we where going to get. If we stick with him he’ll build a solid side that will lack creativity in front of goal.
