Double Country & Club’s ‘home Grown’ player, both required for the UCL
Bayern are after Mount and are willing to pay £45m (so far), but his wage is a stumbling block, but he would be great for Bayern and the Bundesliga.
I think the reason his form has dipped, is because he is unhappy.
But he is demanding £250k a week, plus bonuses, which is the same as James, is that fair? I guess we all have our opinions on that one.
Mount wants to stay at Chelsea, but Murphy is right, he is worried about how many games he is playing and will play in the future, if he stays at Chelsea.
Murphy is also right in as much as ALL the top Clubs will be after him and he would no doubt get his pick and I do not think that Mount's final decision to stay, or leave, will be entirely motivated by money.
At the same time, would any Club be willing to pay him £250k, plus added bonuses on top, a week?
Sell him (Mount) ASAP…

£250k a week is fair enough if that’s what others are on. He’s more reliable in terms of injury than Reece James and I think he’s paid somewhere in that region. It’s a disgusting amount of money, but fair’s fair!
A free agent normally he would be £50 million to buy. When United pay Sancho £375k a week and the worst keeper Old midfielders and a injury prone reject from Madrid Antony and Martinez both refused to play or train unless transfered a player cries off I Jared then hoes cycling round new York then Mount is worth 100 times what they are paid.
If he’s afraid from about his playing time due to the players they bought, probably that means he’s not good enough to compete with them… therefore, he either signs a new deal with a modest salary or ply his trade somewhere else.
I question whether Murphy was a footballer as his ideas of player positions are just nonsense. He's suggesting mount could play in the midfield 2 for arsenal, in xhakha or partey's role. Is he crazy? Mount doesn't play that role and is no where near strong enough to play in a two. Murphy is always at it just making up positions for players. He does it with strikers too, always suggesting they can "play wide" even if they don't have the skillset to do it

As a long time international Chelsea fan, i think Mount has stalled in his development and has peaked his potential. He is Alli 2.0 and player who bang on average no more no less. He is not worth more than 75-100k barely and that is if he can still can produce the goods which is highly questionable. If Chelsea is a smart club they will cash in on his profile this summer, becausr he is still valuable profile, but his footballing level might actually have been proven as overhyped typical young English average player. Who ever buys him in the summer is going walk into a landmine with extorsionate fees and low performances. Maybe Tuchel buys him just like he bought Auba, thinking his still good…
He was our top scorer and assister last year in the league. Him having a bad season and we’re in 10th says it all. He’s happy with the wage offered but not the length because he’s 24 and doesn’t want a contract that takes him into his 30s which is reasonable. It will be a massive loss if he goes.

I have mixed feelings with this one as on an individual level I don't see him as a particularly special talent. However it has to be said when Chelsea have been at there best he has been in the starting lineup.
Disagree with Simon for once. Just because he wants £250k a week at chelsea does't mean he wont accept less at another prem club where hes a guaranteed starter.
Mount has gotten to used to just walking into the first 11… Even when out of form his position was always safe.
Overrated big time
White hit the nail on the head. Does he back himself? Show them he’s worth it. He doesn’t get in City at all. Liverpool would be a downward move and he still wouldn’t be guaranteed. Arsenal can’t afford his wages. It’s irrelevant he’s just not very good consistently.
None of them are worthy of what they get. Singling out 1 player seems childish
