  1. Have not finished listening the video and I mist say, I totally agree with your take. Someone needs to defend him. He has the right to seek better if he can get it.

  2. I think it is fair enough, people also quickly seem to forget that he has been fighting for game time against top defenders since the first day he came back from Gladbach where he was "up against" Cahil, prime Azpi, David Luiz and Terry. Unlike other academy graduates he have been fighting for years to be a starter in the squad despite having interest from big clubs since coming back from Germany. About the Barca move, I totally understand it, he will be one of the big/experienced players in the squad and one they will build around. With players like Pedri, Gavi, De Jong etcetera I understand the project is exciting. And with Chelsea being linked with someone like Kounde and Colwill posoply coming back I understand him worrying about playing week in week out which he will at Barca.

  3. I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't rate highly of him. I think he's a decent back, but I don't see world class. He's had his up and down seasons and done well under Tuchel; but not to the degree that we're losing a big piece of our defense. There are better ones out there in my opinion.
