If messi comes, busquets needs to leave and the midfield for next season could be frenkie, busi, pedri, gavi, gundogan, kessie. My preference would be to push gavi at left wing and get amrabat. So, frenkie, busi, pedri, amrabat, kessie, gundogan
If Messi is going to hardline on Busquets and Alba being there to come back, they stay. If Busquets is gone, run the 4-4-2 with Pedri, Frankie, Kessie, and Gavi in the midfield. Lewy and Messi/Fati/Dembele/whoever up front. Gavi should stay aggressive from the left, De Young falling back and Pedri being aggressive up the middle, and let chaos reign with Kessie from the right. Make Balde, Christianson, Araujo, and Konde work in some arrangement, dammit, because that's too much talent on the field to not work. And Ter Stegan, but that's a given. That's a team that can run roughshod over almost anyone. As always with me, substitute early and often as needed.
Busquet must stay but should not be playing every 90'
I would love for Busquets to say. He is a key player in controlling the midfield and also a key figure in training future midfielders in that position.
Our starting midfield 4 , should be
Frenkie gavi pedri and back ups should be kessie nico torre. We really don't need a midfielder, so spend money at right back
Amrabat >>>>>>> Gundogan. I hope we can bring messi In selling out Torres and Rapinha. Maybe lineup like a 4-4-2

Araujo cristenses and fdj at the back while balde and kounde climbes up the cdm is best for Amrabat while pedri and messi can provide passes through gavi lewa balde kounde should be a free man and can runup and down the pitches as an extra man

Instead of Amrabat, I would rather go for Zubimendi. We need a ball playing CDM. Frenkie and Zubimendi double pivot would be interesting to see. One would drive the ball forward, the other one will remain deep.

They made that money because they were charging members stupid prices. I paid €220 for a ticket as a member for a ticket in the second tier behind the goal. They should be ashamed at charging that much. Yeah I didn’t have to pay but my girlfriend was with me and had never seen a Barca game so wanted to treat her.
Amrabat over Gundagoan for me. 6 years younger. At the peak of his career. A monster defensive midfielder. Will be formidable along with Frankie in a double pivot!

I love how in the past week, we've made enough to pay ferran torres' entire annual salary
gundogan is very similar to frenkie in terms of what he could offer to our midfield. I just don't know if someone with his quality would be willing to settle for not starting week in, week out. My only guess as to how xavi might use him is to have him and frenkie as a true double pivot in midfield with pedri and gavi ahead of them. But that assumes busquets leaves and even then that would make you wonder where that puts kessie. I'm not sure I fully support a midfield signing right now, especially when we have deals for defenders and attackers and of course messi lingering.
