Never took the Cho rumours seriously in the first place. When has Ange ever seen him play? Doesnt Ange tell everyone who asks that he only chooses players who he knows will fit into his system? So when would he have seen enough of Cho to make that decision? Certainly not just from tapes of the World Cup. Im not putting him down as I think he would be a great player, but I just dont see any reason why Ange would want to sign HIM over any other options. Again . . . Ange has never seen the guy play!
As for Ideguchi, I viewed the signing of Iwata as an open hint to Guchi and his agent that he no longer has a role at Celtic. After all, Iwata can do everything Ideguchi can do, only better. And he's younger. So I suspect that he will find a way to terminate his contract on both sides, and go to a J.League club at no fee. It probably wont happen until the very end of the window, but I cant really see him staying at the club when it is so clear that he has missed his opportunity to crack the roster.
