Hmmm pre-injury Josef Martinez was getting shopped by Euro clubs and he decided “Atlanta was his Real Madrid” and stayed… or have we already forgotten about that.
Almada needs to stay until winter win mls cup and then go to Europe a mid season transfer makes no sense
Have change the DP rules and salary cap
MLS is a tier 3 league compared to Europe. Unfortunately ticket prices are tier 1 which prevents me from attending a match. I really like watching minor league talent develop but not at major league ticket prices.
Thiago Almada was such a wild pull of a signing for Atlanta United. It baffles me that their front office was able to pull that acquisition off considering the interest there is in Almada from Europe.
That big, imposing Greek striker they brought in fits Atlanta's system perfectly too.
Not really to be really attractive it would need another 10 players like TA.
One problem with the US: No Champions League.
