It matters not it could have been a discussion about and if a player isn’t needed or where he’s young he’s got time it’s a strong season I’m happy he’s not on. Can work towards the league. Ben White was probably pissed off that he was benched for players like Maguire… don’t blame him.
Ben White threw his toys out of the pram at the World Cup and shot off to Mauritius…Why would Southgate want to pick a sulky player when he has ample cover at centre back.
People very quick to forget the fact Ben White threw his toys out of the pram at the world Cup and left the camp to go back to Arsenal .. even when people said it was personal reasons etc we all know he wasn't playing so ditched the world Cup.. Southgate doesn't want those types around the dressing room . Cry more Arsenal fans he causes being left out of the sqaud by his own actions

Southgate is a Fraud, Maguire and Phillips, Connor, mount, Dier and arguably Henderson.
Plenty of other Players he could have had. JWP, Ben White, Tomori, Abraham, Smalling has been great for Roma, Rico Henry. I am sure there are other players that I missed but he is a step back to England.

He’s Scared. The FA are scared. If England won a tournament without any of the “Big Club” players in the team just imagine how horrified the FA would be?!! So they’ll continue to select the Big Club players (bribed by the clubs to do so) and happily watch England win nothing long as their pockets are lined.

Do they even watch serie A this season? Tomori form has dropped significantly compared to last year, but I would still take him over Maguire who isn't even playing regularly. Based on form, Smalling is likely on his best form ever since playing in serie A. Tammy has also been poor, missing lots of sitters. One of the main reason Roma is inconsistent is their lack of clinical finisher in the final third

Southgate is a joke. The England set up is for his little gang, with very little care about bringing the youngsters through. He's a total melt continually picking players that don't get minutes or aren't in form. The sooner he's gone the better.

He is in good form. Plays every week for a side currently top of the league.Versatile positionally and not only that, has a great understanding and productive link up with one of the best players in the team…Saka 🤷♂️ Sort it out Gareth.
All Ben white has to do is sit back. Rest. See out the rest of the season. Pick up a league winners medal and next summer when Southgate is gone the next manager will see his qualities and select him. Simple really.

Steve Holland made shitty comments to Ben white during World Cup training and White fired back. They fell out. Southgate won’t pick him now.
Southgate said when he initially took the job he would be selecting his squads on form, not on favoritism…..
Yet he refuses to pick his squads on form and clearly has favourites that always get picked even when they are not playing regularly for their teams……Southgate needs to go his negative football will win nothing and waste a decent generation of players
