  1. Interesting how ESPN pundits are now praising Arsenal day in and day out. The same pundits, bar one, gave us no chance at all even after we were blowing teams away 10 games into the season. That is not punditry. Punditry is being able to assess teams at the beginning of a season and realise the change in them and their potential to challenge or surprise. Praising teams that are already playing well is kid stuff. Anyone can do that.
I saw my team during preseason and noticed a change in energy and style, and I said straightaway that we were winning the league. Now, I didn't make that claim because I am a deluded Arsenal fan, but because I saw the other teams during preseason, too and noticed something different.
Liverpool was going through a transition with the sale of Mane, and the old Liverpool spark was lacking. After winning the league serially, I noticed overconfidence creeping into the City team, coupled with the fact that they were going to have to adjust to playing with an out-and-out striker, something Pep isn't particularly great at doing or doesn't love to do. So City weren't going to hit the road running. Chelsea, we dispatched so easily in preseason, which normally doesn't happen preseason or not, so I knew they would not be a problem. The rest of the top six teams were the same old same old. I thought Ten Hag could rejig United and so had them in my top four, which consisted of, and still does, Arsenal, City, Liverpool and United. What I didn't anticipate was how far off Liverpool was going to drop.

Now, people say preseason performances aren't a great barometer, but that is not entirely true. I saw a different Arsenal – a beast. I was surprised by the team I saw then, so I haven't been surprised by how well we have been playing at all.

  2. Apart from the distributions Ramsdale is average keeper who has alot of mistakes in his game. He lacks calmness. If possible Arsenal should search for one topclass keeper who is more calm. Look at city…they had Ederson and still they signed another top topclass keeper who is better than Ederson in many areas. Arsenal should be ruthless and sign more top players they dont have quality bench

  3. Arteta got rid of Leno because he got nervous at passing and that affected the team, since Ramsdale has come in he is very confident and that has great effect on the team.

  4. People forget he's literally 24.. that's considered to be the teenage stages of a goal keeper's career. Onwards and upwards for Rambo, seems like he's got a good head on him

  5. He should be aiming for #1 for the Euros. I get Pickford has credibility for the past years but Ramsdale should get that spot but we know how Fraudgate is.

  6. He has Lehmann character with smile , he need to improve his penalty savings never seen him saving a single penalty other than that he’s potential world class keeper

  7. Arsenal wouldn’t be where they are without ____

I think you will get at least 5 different answers if you ask 10 fans.

    Everyone is important !

  8. Top four is definitely a reality now with the way Spursy are playing ! Likeable kids will be playing with some big clubs if they keep improving !

  9. That's funny. I was thinking the exact same thing! Except I was thinking that Arsenal are out of the FA cup and they wouldn't be there without Ramsdale's uhhh… contribution.

I thought 'is he missing those pens on purpose?" Looked to me like he alligator armed at least 2 of them.

  10. He still needs lots of home work to do on his saves and setpiece presence not forgotten his penalty skills which is woeful. Lots to learn but in average he has tried n improved
