i really enjoyed the game ( ok against a really poor side ) and the youngsters did great. We played some really good passing football in periods and some good movement. Thanks to Moyes for finally using the youngsters (sensibly) and well done to the squad for topping the group unbeaten.

Gonzo, it doesnt matter if we're the first in only two years of the Conf League. We will forever in the history books be the first to win all 6 group games. Just as we were the last team to beat Arsenal at Highbury and the first to beat them at The Emirates. That said, theres still a long long way to go and we need to win this!

Wow, what a game, The Academy vs FSCB. To say Moyes doesn't handle everything brilliantly is a bit of an understatement. But he got this one right, and what an enjoyable glimpse of the future it was. I hope he does this again when we get the chance, it would help us hold onto our talented youngsters instead of losing them.

Sorry to say but I'm disappointed in Hammers Chat. How can it be that I had never even heard of several of the players named for the FCSB match, both starting as well as on the bench? For those who don't have intricate knowledge of the U-23's in general – and given that Hammers Chat is posting daily – how difficult would it have been to post a general "here are some of the names who MIGHT be called up for a Conference League dead rubber or FA Cup against lower league match." Of course Hammers chat had talked about Ashby and Coventry on occasion, but – unless I missed it – not a prior word about Scarles, Casey, Appiah-Forson, Simon-Swyer, Mubama or Potts, not to mention some others on the bench. It would have been nice to have had some prior orientation about these players.
Alot of moaners Geo, you speak the truth, should carry on. Moyes has done very very well, but everyone can see that there could be a jump taken, we could go up a level but moyes wont. He’s stuck with a certain mindset, hense he is a great manager but not a winning/champion trophy lifting manager
An attacking WH from the off, one might have thought we were dreaming. The kids did great, and I know Moyes wants to put things in perspective, and he wants to keep the kids still grounded, but perhaps just a little more enthusiasm and praise would go so far. No need to mention the goal not scored by Mubama, which incidentally was not an easy slot in, he did well to get to the ball. Of course, all could improve, but for a make shift team, they did well, despite the lack of quality of the opposition. Also the board need to work on keeping Ashby NOW.

Gonzo The day you can not give your honest opinion on Moyes, based on any specific game, then that is the day to stop doing your videos. Meanwhile, just ignore those who chastise you for giving your honest opinions. Telling people what they want to hear is valueless. By the way, you can not please all the people all the time. Others are entitled to their own opinion, but they should respect your honest opinions, and perhaps then agree to differ.

Gonzo , If you get criticism from both sides you must be doing something right.
The issue is FCSB are similar to a league1 team and the other 2 in the group would struggle in the championship,it really is nothing to crow about winning that group 😂
