      Dean Saunders the alcoholic, he wasn’t a liability he just wasn’t played in his right position, even then he still dominated Prime Kante at Wembley when we won the FA cup and there’s more moments.

      Xhaka unfortunately was a mainstay of a declining Wenger team and a hap-hazard Emery side. He was never as bad as people made out but he seemed to be a lightning rod for chaos. Now he’s finally playing in a settled team with a top class partner next to him, we’re seeing more mature performances and the best football of his career. He’s a born leader too, it might be Odegaard wearing the armband but don’t underestimate the influence Xhaka has.

      Xhaka definitely changed my mind this seasosn. I was so set on wanting him to leave but now he’s one of my favourite players

      Xhaka is too slow to be a defensive mid. He functions best in this role going box to box with a secondary defensive role to Partey as primary and secondary attacking role to Odegaard.

      If I get a dollar for every time I hear a pundit say “having missed a penalty for England” you will never hear them talk about Harry kanes penalty miss that is even more recent. The pretense is acting like you are praising Saka, when in actuality they are giving a back handed comment, because what that young man bounced back from was not missing a penalty, many players miss penalties, he bounced back from racial abuse, threats, and emotional abuse, to constantly make it first about a penalty miss is laughable.

      I’ve not changed my stance but I do believe I am the reason he sorted himself out. I gave him not hate but genuine constructive criticism when he bemoaned the team loss after his sending off. Since then he fixed his life up and I am proud of him. It does not mean I am worry free as football is a passionate game but I told him on twitter no time to grow up now and drop the toys and the tantrums enough and he did. Fair enough everyone has the right to change I’m glad I have been able to help him.

      This is unbelievable! Worried abt Mancity? What kind of lukewarm support is this? We hv to believe in this team WE RAN city all the wsy way in our game at the Emirates we outplayed and outpossessed them for most of that match until a couple of lapses in concentration as well as being a bit to agressive did us in so please Spare me the feint heart bit its as Bukayo said yesterday during his post match interview We/ they our brilliant young team are afraid of no one and as for Liverpool Wen last i checked we beat them at home and since then they hv only gotten worse so# COYG! ARSENAL FOREVER

      Alot of xhakas reds was because he was playing cm..thats not his position..he doesn't have the pace hence the reckless red cards

      When he got that knee kicked I couldn't believe how worried I was.
      He's vital for this team.
      I can't believe I'm saying that lol
      I wanted him out and now he's showing why every managers at Arsenal had his name first on the team sheets.

      It was Xhakas early season form that propelled arsenal to the summit of the EPL. Most Gooners were happy when he was about to join Roma now the Gooners want to keep him for life

      All credit to Mikel Arteta. I would love to know what he said, how he motivated him, what tactical changes he made, etc. Arteta totally revived Xhaka's game & career.

      As a Manchester United fan, I never got it about Xhaka. Whenever he played us he was the best player on the pitch for Arsenal and then he'd go missing for the next 6 months until he played us again. Always knew there was a player in there just appeared like playing United was his cup final. Good to see him start to be equally motivated in performing against other clubs in the Premier League.

      Playing in a more advanced role has unlocked a lot of his game. He isn’t relied on heavily for defensive duties anymore, that’s when he would make mistakes and bad challenges. That role change and the timing of the squad clicking and maturing has given him a platform he hadn’t previously had at Arsenal and he’s shining to be fair to him!
