  1. If we end up with just the one trophy, no. But as of right now, firmly in the top 4 and still active in 2 other competitions with Weghorst and Fred as starters, absolutely we are over achieving.

  2. The only 7 that matters is the 7 billion transfer kitty were going to get every summer for the next 20 years.😂😂😂😂😂

  3. How can you over achieve after spending 1bn pounds and an average of over 300m in the last two seasons. Nobody talks about city over achieving even though they spent similar amount.

  4. They've spent by far more than anyone else this last decade, both in net spend and wages, so if this is overachieving given the level of investment… United just addressed a glaring issue with their squad – DM.

  5. Lol are we really asking whether a billion pound team is overachieving by finishing 3rd (most likely), winning a league cup and making an fa cup semi-final is OVERACHIEVING? Id say this is the bare minium for a squad worth that much.

  6. Yep they are the new Liverpool. Let's hope they haven't got an open top bus booked for the quadruple that they can't cancel. As it gets embarrassing when the players are showing off the pis. Pot Cup and nothing else.

  7. They're not over achieving at all. This is what man united and this sort of team should be doing , they've just been underachieving for so long

  8. I don't know whether this is punditry or journalism or whatever sky call this, I wonder how when Bruno does something its a moment of brilliance and the manager has nothing to do with it but when Eirling Haaland is shitting goals for City there's no individual brilliance there. How can you compare Ten Hag to Conte's rant too, this is so lazy even for Skys low standards.

  9. The term “overachieving” shouldn’t be associated with a club as big as Manchester United. That term is for a club like Luton Town.

  10. I'd say yeah, United are about as good as spurs, Liverpool and Brighton, we've just had an incredible nack for getting results this season, I think next season on paper we won't do much better (top 4, 70-80 points and maybe another cup), but we'll play much better

  11. I remember after Brentford and even after the city game.. rival fans were literally battering us.. claiming we would finish 7th or 8th.. to make that turn around from that situation…Ten Hag does deserve praise..

  12. No, they’re in the top 4 and going deep into all comps when it’s not the champions league
They’re doing what should he expected

  13. Everyone else getting real worried about Qatar taking over United. If a owner gets it right at Man Utd then they are a immense force. They will be dominanting for decades under Sheikh Jassim.

  14. They are attacking the Competitions that are available to them and getting the rewards.
Look, United first and foremost would want to be in the Champions League, they are not, they are in the Europa League but at least they are respecting it, it is better to win the Europa League than not, Carabao cup again its better to win it than not.
I don't think they are overachieving though, United are 3rd, Minimum requirement for a team as big as them and one of the biggest spenders in the last few years.
The big boys from England that miss out on Champions League are surely expected to at least make the final, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United have all made the final or won it in the last 7 years.

  15. Defo not overachieving just doing what we should be at this club and it will continue especially once we get new owners and get few more players in and few players out
