I have to agree with Jamie regarding Southgate's squad selections. There's plenty of good English players that deserve a chance to get some caps.
Cundy so far off the mark here. Southgate is ridiculous. Yes there should always be a core of elite footballers who get picked, like Rooney etc. But then the 'fringe' players and players outside the spine of the team need to be picked on form

Issue with Southgate is he is found out when they play against a decent side. I don’t have issue with him picking players who have not let him down however you could end up missing out of a gem of player who could take them to next level .
