Answer is yes if they can’t afford Diogo Costa
United should go all out for Costa regardless of the price , I know 65M might be too much for a goal keeper but I think Costa is a generational talent for goal keepers and would be well worth it in the short and long run

Costa over Raya for me
Take a look at Vicario Guglielmo of Empoli. He's 26. Very good shotstopper, very good with his fit and efficient at cross claiming. Cheap and efficient. Kindly do an analysis on him. Bayern are scouting him. I think that's a very good sign.

AJ, you are right. I watched a video by Pythagoras in Boots recently about David Raya as well, and he also pointed out similar problems. I think it all boils down to Ten Hag as usual, if he wants Costa, then Murtough better make it happen. Honestly though, I don't have a good impression of Costa after watching him screw up at the World Cup…

I would go for Riemann from Germany for the short term (and maybe the long one who knows) as the guy is AMAZING and then maybe next summer go for Diogo Costa
Diogo Costa or burst for me. In terms of GKs with potential to be elite, he is at number 1. If we have to compromise, I'd get Sanchez from Brighton.

If we're looking to play out from the back, we need to replace De Gea, but let's be clear, we'll need a press resistant RB and a CM who can receive the ball in tight spaces and play a progressive pass. It's not all De Gea's fault we have struggled to counter the opposition' high press this season.

Alphonse Areola only valued at £25M at present, potentially world class keeper in the making to me he's a much better keeper than DeGea & Henderson that has all the attribute to be the best. A Keeper United should sign next if they want to go to the next level, you know where you stand with him.
