  1. Trying to give you an idea of some of the content that we provide on patreon, hopefully persuade one or two to head over and give it a go this month (but also make a good video at the same time), apologies if not achieved that but finding the 'highlights' thing tricky to do but any ideas, feel free to give us a nudge!

Anyway, if you fancy supporting the channel and getting additional videos and a few perks in return then please head to https://www.patreon.com/hammerschat all support is massively appreciated and we shall do our best to keep creating good (questionable) content on YouTube and Patreon!

Anyway, back tomorrow with a non-patreon highlights video! Any topic requests, please feel free to suggest!!

    Geo & Gonzo!!

  2. Benrama gets a 3 from me …I said to my boy at half time this is a prime reason why moyes dont fancy him…hes decision making is pub football standard..he stank the place out on Saturday…if he plays like that against Chelsea then benrama fan boys can not grumble when moyes puts him in the bench….that was not good enough

  3. I bet Lucas got a bollocking off “Call me David Moyes” Moyesey for that goal celebration and a right smacker on the lips for the rest of his performance! Now we see the international player we bought

  4. Hi fellas…. Hi everyone, I upped my Patreon level this year from Supporter to Mild Addict and to be honest there's so much great content at times I struggle to keep up, well worth the money in my opinion…. Many thanks to everyone in the Hammer's Chat team…. COYI !!!⚒️

  5. Hopefully with Aguerd and paqueta finding their feet this is the turning the corner point,,,,,they do have a real chance on Saturday against a bang average Chelsea side at present

  6. I thought aguerd was fantastic. Man of the match for me. The striker had 2 yrds on him and he still made a world class tackle. Glad paq scored. Hope it's the start of many now..

  7. That wasn’t bad or off performance by Benrahma, that was a Benrahma game, it’s the benchmark.
Can’t take defenders on, can’t cross, can’t shoot, switches off a crucial moments.
He’s has no capability at PL level, a playground footballer.

  8. Everyone had at least a 7 out of 10 for me other than Benrahma. He worked hard, but he was atrocious. He killed so many promising moves it was frightening. And that type of performance is exactly why he will forever yo-yo out of the starting 11. He is no more than a sub player and a starter against the teams of low quality.

Even the subs had solid contributions. Johnson was brilliant in the 2nd half and Soucek and Fornals ran their arses off.

The real standout performers were Rice, Aguerd and Coufal. Any of those 3 could’ve won the MOTM and I wouldn’t have complained.

  9. Would make a great captain aguerd ! Plus Dec if he goes anywhere other than staying in London with arsenal or Chelsea then only city and pep would be the only ones for him to get that step up for winning things. Can see pep wanting him in summer.

  10. Definitely our best signing of the season and he has only played a few games keep him fit and zouma in beside him ,we will be solid out…..

  11. To be fair to benny, this was not a game for him. Those CB's were out to heavy foul everyone. We needed a Soucek over there to give them a taste of potato salad.

  12. Guys I said on one of your videos weeks ago to give Aguerd the captaincy. Rice playing like it’s a hindrance to his game. And on top of that your captain shouldn’t be saying publicly he’s leaving! Captain for 3 months then announce you’re going – not for me!

  13. Great listen again from both of you. I agree at the start of your video that rice has got back into playing in his original position & looks better playing protecting the defence & not going forward as much to compensate paqueta as his midfield partner. Can I ask anyone's opinions if they feel that Soucek might be feeling a little hard done by here because Saturday paqueta played just the same as soucek played in his 1st season with us & when soucek comes on as a replacement he is immediately told to stay back. I think it affects his game & also the perspective of us towards him as we all moaned once his number came up & knew we were settling for a draw at that stage?

  14. 25 mins into the 1st half i thought Bowen and Benny should have swapped sides , Benny against Dan Brun and Bowen would have given more issues to Trippier

  15. I really hope Aguerd is not the one to be moved out of position when we suffer the inevitable CB injury crisis he gives us so much from the left. Would not be adverse to dropping Rice to CB if needed, and giving Downes the CDM role.

  16. Totally agree with your ratings boys. Aguard was excellent & Dec even better, poor game from Benny, but head up Benny let’s go again ⚒ COYI

  17. What is the fixation with appointing our best player as captain. Rice is not a good captain all he does is shake his head and throw his arms I. The air when something goes wrong. What we need is a motivator. Henderson is a great example of a good captain. He motivates not looks as though he is about to throw a paddy. Noble wasn’t our best player but a good captain. Let’s not put pressure on Aguerd, let him play his game. It’s ok saying that Rice demonstrated good leadership v Newcastle. Yes he played well but the team were playing well so in terms of captaincy he didn’t have to do much. When things get tough it’s a different matter.

  18. We’re level on the blunder fabiaski had with the goal but think about the header Wilson had against him… it was straight at him but it was brisk and close, so I think he made up brilliantly for that… but I agree

  19. I always thought Pacqueta would eventually come good. He works too hard and has too much technique for it not to work out. Players like that eventually will make their own luck and I think we will see an even more proficient player when he gains more confidence. Some of his passing and touches were sublime. He's the sort of player that can pass it first time with any part of his foot.

  20. Aguerd and Rice were both on song and Aguerd is improving with each game. I hope we can stay with us long term. A little harsh on Fabs I feel. With the little time he had, he positioned himself centrally and was well off his line to reduce the target area. Other than run at Wilson and commit himself he did what most keepers would do. He is reliant on his defenders to put a tackle in and was hardly at fault for the goal. Agree with Bennie's roundup, I only ask for one thing when you shoot at the goal, at least get it on target!
