Kaoru Mitoma PRAISES Trent-Alexander Arnold during Interview

In a recent interview, Kaoru Mitoma talked about his experiences playing against Trent Alexander-Arnold and some other duels he had throughout his career. He specifically mentioned Trent, saying: “I got past Trent Alexander-Arnold once but soon after that when I was blocked by him, his arms were strong. People tend to think that his defending seems weak but he is totally strong from what I’ve felt in person.”

Despite Trent’s obvious difficulties in defending against Mitoma, the humble Japanese striker still praised the Liverpool defender for his strength and abilities on the pitch.

  1. Although the video of TAA being passed over by Mitoma is often shown, I think it is an accurate analysis because it is said by a calm Mitoma who actually played against a TAA opponent one-on-one.
