    Man City’s Aymeric Laporte talks to CityTV about his transfer to the Club.

    City are delighted to announce the signing of French centre-back Aymeric Laporte.

    The 23-year-old joins the Club from Athletic Bilbao as Pep Guardiola’s sixth signing of the 2017/18 season and has signed a deal until 2023.

    Regarded as one of the most promising young defenders in Europe, Laporte will take the number 14 shirt and is eager to help the Blues in their hunt for silverware.

      I hope Athletic at least got the buyout fee for him cause they can’t really buy anyone to replace him, I bet they just drop San Jose into the back 4 and go from there. It’s a club I really admire, In the modern game where every club sells out they’ve stuck to their principles of only playing Basque players and that’s definitely worthy of admiration.
