  1. Anyone with eyes can see Bruno's deficiencies. It's sad we live in an era where football is played on a calculator and stats get gassed to the high heavens. IMO the problem with Bruno is we don't have someone that makes up for his lack of ball carrying in midfield.

  2. I think zambo anguissa would be a good replacement for eriksen who can help improve brunos game with him being a very good ball carrier who often makes good interceptions and wins most ariel duels

  3. If Bruno Fernandes is a problem for Eric Ten Hag, then we must have the best team in the league! Its really bizarre to say that its your best player that limits the ceiling of your team… Bruno Fernandes has from several years dragged the whole team up to his level, and the idea that replacing him would allow the team to get better is ridiculous. Say we have a hundred million to spend, is the team's 'ceiling' improved by a) spending ALL that replacing just Bruno Fernandes with some mythical player that matches his elite creativity while ALSO having the elite ball carrying of deep lying Frenkie de Jong (who is this mythical player?) or b) spending that in a couple of other areas that are far weaker e.g. right back, striker, so that the team as a whole is at closer to Bruno's level.
If this Mythical player does exist, surely he would blow the entire club's budget, in which case he would likely spend half his games starting in front of Fred and Aaron wan Bissaka… is this really the team with the higher ceiling?
Who's to say that surrounding Bruno with a few better players more equal to his level wouldn't make Bruno even better? I've noticed a few occasions where Jon MacKenzie is weirdly critical of UTD's best players, remember his Casemiro take from earlier this season? That's aged well.

  4. Bruno is a creative attacking midfielder and not a true no.10 playmaker like odegaard or KDB. What he lacks in technique he compensates with mentality workrate determination and tenacity. You fail to grasp that Ten Hag values off the ball ability both in and out of possession. KDB and Odegaard are a defensive downgrade to Bruno.

  5. Ohh my gosh for the first time Tifo is absolutely wrong. Try again on this one mate. Bruno’s only weakness is ball retention. He tends to play the Hollywood pass way too often too early. He could help more in recycling the ball in possession.

  6. Poor video imo, god statistics are ruining football. Regardless how can you judge if Bruno is going to fit into a ten hag system purely based on less than half a season. Everyone needs time to adapt to Ten Hag's football, including Bruno.

  7. The problem with bruno. You’ve got to be kidding. Thats an elite level attacking midfielder and you guys know it. You didn’t find anything wrong with united and now wont to call out bruno. You guys are good but stop falsely calling out Manchester United and our players.

  8. watching bruno always annoys me with his technique… sometimes, he'll play a really good pass. but most of the time, it's sloppy and given away. he's also been doing this school boy thing recently, of keeping the ball in play blindly, giving it to the opposition. so so annoying, but he works like a dog

  9. There is a minimum receiving area point that required him to function properly I think that is his flaw too. So he always need a eriksen or a world class cdm like Casemiro that can do what Eriksen does to provide passes that slice through defences and to perform the defensive duties. Odegaard is absolutely disgustingly good so I think a comparison might be unfair. Bruno is a key contributor while Odegaard is a Game Changer.

  10. I’ve never rated him. They will never win a big trophy if he is a regular starter because you can’t control games with him in the team

  11. Building a team around Frenkie De jong so that the entire team ghosts when they play against a big team
Just happy the guy rejected us and we got casemiro instead
De jong won't touch the laces of casemiro

  12. I half agree. Bruno is a problem but I don't agree that ten Hag can't make Bruno the player he needs him to be – something that your analysis didn't consider even after seeing how EtH has improved so many players in the United team so far this season.

  13. This thumb nail and video title is almost unsubscribe worthy it's that stupid. After watching the video, it's even worse. I get Man United get clicks, I get hating on Man United gets even more clicks, but this is a lame attempt, Bruno's outlet is not normal, his goals, assist, chance creation, defensive contributions, his energy, the sheer amount of games he plays are all insane. United must of really upset Jon in his childhood, his bitterness shines through

  14. Well tifo irl if you present us with a problem why don’t you give us a solution as well? Tell us which 1 exact player should be bought not a number of potential options otherwise it will be like criticizing someone without telling them how to fix it. 😒

Also imo as majority Bruno has been brilliant. He has the heart for the club and gives his everything in every game which a pie chart or stats can never show.

  15. this is the reason why in the next couple transfer windows we need to get a press resistant ball carrying midfielder like a Frenkie De Jong to play alongside a Casemiro type and behind Bruno. Eriksen is brilliant, but the lack of dribblers is the only weakness in our midfield, and the deeper spot next to the DM is the best place for it. some of you might think this video is a criticism of Bruno Fernandes, but it's not. it's just highlighting that to make him work in the long term we need a player in the midfield to cover his (pretty much only) weakness to have complete balance and a much greater chance of controlling games at higher levels

  16. You need to decide whether you are entertaining banter or science because this decontextualised, sloppy use of data lessens the entertainment for people who do and don’t understand how to properly parse quantitative and qualitative data 😂 Everyone loses!

  17. Even as a neutral, this was a poor analysis, the takeaway was especially lazy, saying a player like Odegaard is the type of player that Manchester United need to raise their ceiling when Bruno has been putting up impressive numbers during his entire Premier league career whilst generally only being outdone by De bruyne, who has always been playing in a much better and settled team compared to Bruno is unfair especially when you consider that Odegaard has only outdone Bruno this half season alone. Statistically this is considered a poor season by Bruno but he still ranks third in the premier league among other 10s. Your conclusion also makes no sense, its also worth considering if De bruyne and Odegaard would put up similar metrics as Bruno whilst playing under Ole & Ralf Rangnick and the teams they had as well. Look how they perform in their national teams compared to Bruno.
