      The difference is apparent when you listen to the Parc des Princes’ atmosphere as opposed to the tense, anxious, nervous energy at the Emirates, especially these past few weeks. Remember how electric the Emirates was in 2022-24?

      Edit- Not sure how people are interpreting this as an attack on the fans. My point was that this type of win is far superior to our usual 1-0s for the reason I described.

      Difference is we need to win our pedigree in this tournament because all these dull wins will amount to very little if we can’t prove we really are the best defense in Europe to match.

      I stated the same thing to a friend who’s an amateur fan at best. For a neutral and an amateur fan of football in general, obviously it was a lot more fun to watch and enjoy. High quality individual goals but also masking the terrible defending by both teams not to mention the lack of control in midfield. I pointed out to him the difference in approach of both sets of opponents in the semi finals and how tomorrow’s match could (strong could) be a cagey, defensive and small margins kind of game but that i absolutely enjoy both sides of the game. The trick is to keep the game close at all times, don’t let your opponent run away with the scoreline and you stand a chance. A win is a win and a loss is a loss, 4-3, 2-1 or 1-0. 

      P.S – Abosolute humiliation like 8-2 definitely counts though 😢 Or Chelsea 5-0 😀

      for a neutral, 8 goals

      for psg this is kinda irritating cause they were 3 goals up at one point and they let bayern back in the game for a second leg at the allianz, so i think they would have actually preferred a 1 nil

      for bayern, conceding 5 goals instead of 1

      I swear the internet has fried our fanbase – we are so sensitive to outside criticism that we now have fans unironically asking why people prefer 5-4 games to matches that end 1-0.

      1-0 is a match in control but this 5-4 was like flipping a coin until its end. Terrible game for both but incredible for neutrals.
