The Premier League have finally confirmed the schedule for the penultimate gameweek of the season.
With Chelsea and Manchester City set to go head-to-head in the FA Cup final on Saturday, May 16, neither will be in action that weekend and will instead play their scheduled matches on different dates.
Indeed, Chelsea are pencilled in to face relegation-threatened Tottenham, but that fixture will now take place on Tuesday, May 19 at 8:15pm – five days before the final day of the season. It’s a fixture that could have huge implications on both, with the Blues fighting for Europe while Spurs are battling to avoid relegation.
Meanwhile, City are in the race to win the Premier League title and have been scheduled fixtures either side of the game against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium. They are set to host Crystal Palace on Wednesday, May 13, before travelling to Bournemouth – moved back due to their participation in the FA Cup final – on Tuesday, May 19.
Elsewhere, City’s title rivals Arsenal are now due to host Burnley on Monday, May 18.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest’s matches that weekend remain under consideration for change. This is due to the potential for either of them to reach the Europa League final on Wednesday, May 20.
If Villa make it to the final, their match against Liverpool on May 17 will be changed to Friday, May 15 with an 8pm kick-off on Sky Sports. Likewise with Forest, their 12:30pm kick-off against Manchester United at Old Trafford will move to the same date and time.
Below are the penultimate weekend’s fixtures – which will all be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK – before the final day of the 2025/26 Premier League season the following Sunday.
