West Ham are set for a new era following the exit of vice-Chair Karren Brady.

That is the view of The West Ham Way Podcast host Dave Walker, who like many fans was delighted with the news that the deeply unpopular Brady has left the club after 16 years.

Brady, who oversaw the move to the London Stadium from our beloved home at Upton Park, parted ways in a shock move, that also saw a statement lacking any feeling towards David Sullivan – whom she has worked with for over 40 years.

The exit of the Apprentice star has many now hoping this is signalling the soon-departure of Sullivan, who fans have been calling to resign in the ‘No More BS’ movement by Hammers United.

Speaking of the news, Walker said he feels that the resignation of Brady hopefully signals a new dawn in east London.

“Hopefully Brady leaving will be the start of an exciting new era for West Ham, a time when we can really see this club fulfil its true potential,” said the Podcast host. “Let’s hope David Sullivan decides to sell now and that new chapter can begin.”
