Arsenal have been tracking Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon for some time.
The Gunners reportedly made a late move to sign Anthony Gordon in 2024, but Newcastle managed to retain his signature.
Gordon’s stock has continued to rise since then, especially after netting 10 goals in 12 Champions League games this term.
Simple question: Would you rather be in Pep Guardiola or Mikel Arteta’s shoes right now?

The Athletic have just reported that Newcastle are ‘increasingly likely’ to sanction Gordon’s sale this summer.
Newcastle believe selling Gordon would allow them to facilitate a squad overhaul after an underwhelming campaign.
The noise coming out of the North East club is that chiefs are more willing to listen to offers for the former Everton star than some of their other key assets, such as Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes.

The 25-year-old’s ‘pace and versatility are seen as big assets’ among Arsenal’s recruitment team, who are expected to sign a left-sided winger this summer.
Reports suggest Arsenal will have to pay around £75m to sign Gordon, which could be a potential stumbling block.
Bayern Munich are also showing an interest in Gordon and have already held talks, however, they value him at £55m.
Considering how expensive the deal could be, Arsenal should really consider pulling out and exploring other options.
Rafael Leao is on Arteta’s radar and would be a much better use of the transfer budget, considering he’s available for around £52m.
