Joe Brunt, consumer finance expert at Fast Loan UK, said: “Organising your travel and accommodation as early as possible means you can secure the lowest prices and best availability.

“It’s also a good idea to consider travelling midweek, if the dates work for all your guests.

“This is particularly ideal for those planning a more relaxed hen or stag do.”

Hotel stays in Bournemouth average £97 per night, with bottomless brunches around £40 per person, and a pint costing about £5.75.

Transport is also reasonably priced, with a one-way public transport ticket at £2.25 and a 10km taxi journey costing just over £16.10.

Blackpool topped the list as the UK’s cheapest destination for hen and stag dos, with an overall score of 8.62, followed by Chester in second place with a score of 8.22, and Sheffield in third place with a score of 7.74

A typical hen or stag do in the UK now costs guests nearly £800.
