Alan Shearer has just made his final prediction for the relegation battle between West Ham and Tottenham.
Neither the Hammers nor Spurs were expected to be in this precarious position at the start of the season.
However, managers Graham Potter and Thomas Frank failed to meet expectations and ultimately lost their jobs.
The two London clubs now find themselves in a head-to-head battle for Premier League survival with four games to go.
Shearer explained the catastrophic implications of relegation before picking between West Ham and Tottenham.

Shearer was amazed by the turn of events in West Ham and Tottenham’s respective league games on Saturday.
The Hammers went from being four points clear to falling into the relegation zone to maintaining their two-point lead within minutes.
Shearer highlighted the “horrible situation” for both clubs as they face more “pressure” than even Arsenal and Manchester City.
He said, “I just kept looking at my phone because West Ham score, Everton equalise, Spurs score and then Callum Wilson scores for West Ham in the last minute, and I think, ‘Oh my god’.
“We talk about pressure at the top, but there’s certainly more pressure at the bottom because you know if you’re going to be relegated, and it looks like West Ham or Tottenham, then without doubt people will lose their jobs in the football club.
“That’s the reality. It’s a horrible situation, but one of them is going to go. For all of them to have a bit of form at this time of the season is incredible.
“Tottenham’s first win, West Ham have really responded well in the last couple of months, Forest are flying as well, so it’s going to be tough.”
The Newcastle legend then predicted West Ham to stay up at Tottenham’s expense due to some recent injury news.
Assuming West Ham stay up, would you rather see Arsenal bottle the league or Tottenham go down? 🤔

Shearer then added, “I think West Ham might stay up. Tottenham had a couple of injuries yesterday, [Dominic] Solanke and [Xavi] Simons went off injured.”
Fortunately for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, they are not missing any key players, whereas Spurs have an incredible injury list.
