A celebrity chef who has cooked for Charli XCX, Paloma Faith and Peter Kay has taken over the kitchen on Bournemouth Pier.
Dan Wilby, an executive chef with experience working alongside culinary greats such as Tom Kerridge, Michel Roux Jr, and Angela Hartnett, has been appointed by pier operator Adventure Attractions at Key West Coastal Restaurant on Bournemouth Pier.
With his background in top London kitchens, Mr Wilby is set to refine the restaurant’s food offering and introduce a series of curated dining experiences.

Mr Wilby said: “You don’t get many kitchens with a view like this.
“Cooking at the end of Bournemouth Pier is pretty special, so the food needs to rise to that occasion, modern coastal dishes, great British favourites and ingredients that really speak for themselves.”
The venue’s first reimagined dining event under his direction will launch in May with La Table Française: A Taste of France, an evening of French-inspired cuisine.
Taking place on Saturday, May 16, the event will feature a three-course menu crafted by Mr Wilby, blending classic French techniques with a coastal twist.
The evening will also include a live performance by French singer Muriel.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £59.50 per person.
