Predictably there's not been much emphasis on this from the media, but MON's record has been so impressive this season with a joke of a squad. Thought this post on TalkCeltic summed it up really well.

If he somehow gets us the title, he's an absolute miracle worker.

Not that he doesn’t already deserve it but if he wins the double with this team, there has to be a statue outside Celtic Park for him, has to be.

  2. Hope he goes on to win the League, he deserves it after the ruinous Nancy fiasco, c’mon MON

  3. People are criticising him for not winning every game with what’s acknowledged to being a very weak squad. Maybe the weakest since the 90s. I believe his record in all competitions since returning for the second time is W16 D3 L3 which is pretty darn good. If you include both spells, it is W23 D3 L4 including 2 in Europe.

Our standards are rock bottom right now. Absolutely, MON has largely got the results but the football has been abject for +90% of the games. If we get a double fair play to the team and MON/Maloney but we should be dominating the league and as shown by Hearts and Rangers games, they are hardly world beaters either. We can and should be beating these guys. Even with the result stats you have attached, I hope we don’t give MON the job next season. It will further deteriorate the what I believe the standards should be at the club

he left the team in such a good position to win the league only for nancy to ruin it and fuck everything up, fair play to MON for coming back and doing it a second time with this team, would have been a truly miserable season with out him
