Ipswich Town Football Club has sent an application to Ipswich Borough Council to install six digital advertisement screens in the newly built car park, behind the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand.
These LED screens would be attached to lampposts.
They have also applied to install a freestanding digital poster screen in the same car park.

The car park in question was recently completed on the site of the former Staples building.
Planning permission for the 185-space car park was approved in May 2025, with construction work taking place from June last year to February 2026, when the car park opened.
The current car park at Portman Road is set to be replaced by the council’s new aquatic centre and a new multistorey car park with more than 700 places.
Plans for the multistorey car park were submitted in March this year, marking the first phase of the Ipswich Aquatic Centre development.
