Tuttosport confirms that the Portugal international is one of the Red Devils’ targets for next season and that preliminary talks between the Premier League side and the player’s camp have already begun.

Barcelona are also among the clubs interested in Leao and have established initial contacts with the winger’s representatives, yet talks with the Catalans or the Red Devils are not at an advanced stage.

Leao has had ups and downs at San Siro this season, being deployed as a centre-forward in a 3-5-2 system rather than his natural role as a left winger.

Leao has scored ten goals and provided three assists in 27 appearances across all competitions this season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport recently reported that Milan will be open to offers for Leao in the summer, even suggesting that €50m would be enough to secure the winger’s signature at the end of the season.
