Como club president Mirwan Suwarso on Cesc Fàbregas: “If that makes him happy, that’s him, “You want your employees to stay with you for as long as possible but at the end of the day we don’t own him and he’s free to go to Chelsea if he wishes.”

>>we don’t own him
Doesn’t he own you though lol
Won’t there be a conflict of interest since he also partly owns Como? Maybe he will be forced to sell his stake?
I’d love cesc. But I just think we’d ruin him. Our model isn’t set up to help coaches.
With how specular he’s doing he will have better options than us in the summer or next Summer
He’s free to go if he wishes but he won’t wish
I think a 10/10 window is way more important than who we hire especially another young project manager.
Then again there’s no chance in hell we have a good summer with those 2 bums signing players
I hope the ownership gets a reality check for the way they’ve treated some of the managers that they thought were good enough for the job..not referring to Maresca considering he was to blame for the way he exited. To throw away “projects” 3-4 months into a 6.5 year “plans” and this mindless player trading volume bs.
so he IS interested then?
please save us from Iraola
I care too much about Cesc or Lamps to want them to come to us right now in this shit show
I’d love him here but Cesc, for the love of your own career, stay away from CFC LDN.
cmonnnnnnnnnn
Love Fab, but I don’t think he’s leaving como when they’ll be in Europe. He can still be there another year or 2 and then wait for the Barcelona job to open or Arsenal and get a better gig. He’d be trading the power he has at como for no power at all and likely sacking in 6 months at Chelsea
Please Cesc, not now. Wait until they sell the club to…literally anybody that has a brain
He’s doing great at Como, this club will set him back.
If we were still in the Abramovich era, at some point in the late 2020’s, Fabregas would definitely be considered as an option and he would definitely be tempted to return on a managerial basis. But under this clown ownershi? Hell nah
Well Blueco want coaches who would pick the players given to them by SD’s and get along with it. But any coach who wins a year like Maresca will slowly start to demand control or want a say in who they bring as players. If your SD’s do a horrible job like this guys are doing I doubt even a decent coach will come here, let alone good managers.
Cesc had to risk getting relegated with Como before instilling the kind of philosophy that he wanted them to play, the players believed in him all the way through because their options were limited given where they come from, but that’s the exact same identical situation as Iraola with Bournemouth.
Chelsea fans wouldn’t just turn on Cesc, they’d revoke his club legacy and call him a chronic failure, bring protest signs, and bully him online for months on end like they did Sarri, Lampard, and Rosenior.
Basically the only manager for us is an infallible impeachable world class manager with millions of years of pedigree, not because that’s what we need, but because we have the single most entitled fanbase in the game
I really like him but rather have xabi or iraola atleast. I don’t think Cesc would benefit from coaching us in our current situation
We need someone with Authority and Prestige, that can bent these lot into shape and who will command respect.
#Hope
This is not the problem
Cesc needs a Nico Paz, who’ll be our Nico Paz?
Cesc or Xabi, pick and choose clownlake, and for once let the COACH decide.
It seems most people want us to go for the least experienced manager we are linked with. I’m not saying I do or don’t want him but.. After what happens it very surprising.
Would love him here. But for his sake, I hope Cesc stays far away from this heap.
I just want a top manager who can put these owners and SDs in their places. Want a manager with the arrogance to say, “I’ve won this and that” and tell these idiots they’ve literally won nothing. A pipe dream, I know, but feel it’s not the managers that make day to day decisions at our club.
I love Cesc, but honestly why would he come? This ownership is the death star of coaches
I would love to see his football ideas played here but I’m not as optimistic as I once was on this club being able to pull in any manager they want.
PLEASE STOP HIRING START UPS
I love Cesc but i’m not sure on either side.
he’s done so well with Como, with so much control, why would he not want to see that through next season? we are a black hole for both players and managers atm. a real poisoned chalice.
but then also, everyone is banging on about experience and he certainly hasn’t got a long resume. why is his experience any more valued than Iraola or what have you. how far does “oh cool is cesc fabregas” really take you in the dressing room when the results start to tank?
I don’t know who the top level experienced candidate is outside of maybe Alonso, and if they managed to convince him, and didn’t buy some experience players this summer, my hope for the club might spark up again.
The only senior manager out there with buckets of experience is Mourinho, it’ll never and shouldn’t happen but not gonna lie, it’s a train wreck I would love to watch for the pressers alone 😂
The point facing these PE bros of Blueco is that without someone of that stature, they will not be able to attract or retain quality players.
Unless the long-term vision of this ownership is to destroy all young and promising managers’ careers so our rivals don’t have a manager to appoint, I think we should stay away from Cesc for the foreseeable future.
Man it would be so feel good for Cesc to come and do what Arteta can’t do with Arsenal. Give the man what he wants and change your model blueco
Love Cesc but BlueCo will just make him run away like they did with Maresca
Just go back to marescs and give him what he wanted. Imagine the morale boost of the players. Seriously this is absolutely best case scenario
For Cesc to come, BlueCo need to die.
If the owners and SDs will truly back Cesc and change the model up a bit this summer to help him… bring him p l e a s e.
But if they aren’t and are just gonna keep buying 17 year olds and “market opportunities,” I’d rather not have Cesc have to deal with that.
So glad it’s the World Cup this summer. Couldn’t hack 2 months of this shit everyday.
Cesc isn’t the answer. We need a very experienced manager to navigate this football club and its incompetence at the leadership level
